The Amazon Media Group is seeking a talented Finance Manager of Display Ads Monetization to join the Yield team. In this role, you will manage the overall monetization and performance of our advertising placements on Amazon.com. This role is instrumental in defining a new approach on how we bring value for consumers and advertisers. You have the opportunity to be deeply involved on the evolution of our most strategic business and will work cross-functionally with retail and advertising product teams to drive a new vision of a unified marketing experience. You will be held accountable to driving step change improvements in the relevance and revenue from our ad offering.

This role is inherently cross-functional -- you will work closely with engineering, data scientist, product and executive teams to bring features and products to market, as well as, develop and grow advertising opportunities for Amazon.com.

The ideal candidate will be highly analytical and able to make appropriate tradeoffs to optimize time-to-market, clearly communicate goals, roles, responsibilities, and desired outcomes to internal cross-functional and remote project teams. Most importantly, you will be challenged to think big about new and unique ways regarding our monetization strategies.

Core Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Partner with page owners across devices to ensure holistic experience goals are met
Partner with Data Scientists and Economists to maximize overall page revenue by implementing new placements, novel algorithms and pricing schemas
Manage prioritization and trade-offs among customer experience, performance and operational support load
Partner with product and design teams to improve the overall consumer experience from our ad offerings
Work closely with engineering teams and program management to deliver products to market
Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or Finance with a focus on quantitative analysis required
10+ years of professional experience with 7+ years in online advertising, inventory management, web analytics, business analysis or comparable finance position
Experience operating successfully in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment, and have the ability to influence the decisions of senior business leaders through effective verbal and written communication, logical reasoning, and the presentation of alternatives
Independent and entrepreneurial showing the ability to work with minimal direction
Advanced Excel modeling skills
Preferred Qualifications

MBA or Graduate Degree in Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or Finance with a focus on quantitative analysis required
Experience with statistical analysis, regression modeling and forecasting, time series analysis, data mining, financial analysis, dynamic pricing, demand modeling, game theory and customer/product segmentation
Fluency in a modeling language such as Python scientific computing libraries, Matlab, or R
Ability to distill problem definitions, models and constraints from informal business requirements, and to deal with ambiguity and competing objectives
A natural curiosity and desire to learn
