Analytics Program Manager Consumers Google Mountain View

As an Analytics Product Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring timely delivery of high impact analytics projects that deliver key business data and insights. You will work closely with business analysts, data engineers, and business stakeholders to develop data products that help Google ensure that we have the highest quality customer service. You are well versed in data analytics and customer support operations and able to work in a fast paced and sometimes high pressure environment.

Our team cares for customers by solving problems and scaling solutions, incubating new Google products, and sharing user feedback with internal teams to influence product development. We support a wide variety of products, from Ads to Project Fi and just about everything in between, and our customers include advertisers, consumers, partners, publishers, retailers, and our own Sales Googlers.

Responsibilities
Generate Business Requirement Documents (BRD) that capture the key requirements and success criteria for analytics products
Collaborate with engineering team on technical architecture for solutions and validate design fitness
Own key projects from concept to delivery. Drive the planning process to assess appropriate resourcing and readiness
Anticipate risks, respond and mitigate risks as they are discovered, and assure successful delivery
Manage exceptions in metrics and drive resolution of issues including conducting periodic reviews of key business metrics to identify opportunities for improvement
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:
BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or related fields or equivalent practical experience.
4 years of relevant work experience, including 2 years industry experience
Software development experience

Preferred qualifications:
Experience designing data models and data warehouses
Experience with UNIX or GNU/Linux systems
5 years of experience in managing corporate metrics programs in the customer support space
Familiarity with non-relational data storage systems (NoSQL and distributed database management systems)
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
Strong track record in managing complex cross-functional projects. Passion to drive collaboration and deliver high-quality, highly-complex projects across multiple teams.
