Direct all education related programs and projects from concept to delivery. This will include new programs, existing program updates and maintenance, and future program concept development.
Core Responsibilities: (not intended to be all inclusive)
Collaborate with Marketing and Sales to develop specific education programs to meet the company’s needs. Implement and maintain a global message with all education materials
Education Encyclopedia maintenance and development
Implementation of the company’s Education Philosophies into all materials
Watch: Career Advice
Quantify all education claims through R&D and other resources
Develop and Maintain Course Descriptions
Maintain and Develop online tools (Product Profile Sheets, Step-by-Step guides, Trouble-shooting guides)
Approve all external communications to Education Ambassadors
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Excellent knowledge and understanding of the company’s education philosophies and content
Strong project and time management skills
Strong People and team management
Excellent writing and editing skills
Ability to collaborate with all departments
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree
Minimum 5 years experience in education in the professional hair industry
Travel required for training and events (domestic and international)
Licensing/Certification/Registration:
Preferred: Licensed Cosmetologist
Work Environment:
Work is performed primarily in an office environment
