Watch: Career Advice Plans, executes and manages a comprehensive set of inter-related tasks to support the Capture Plan. In support of the Capture Manager and the Capture Team, the Project Manager defines and manages scope, schedule and budget activities related to the execution of the rebid.
Key responsibilities: include planning, coordination, reporting and other support for requirements analysis, task scoping and definition, scheduling of work, performance monitoring, resource scheduling and driving the generation of specified deliverables in accord with the scope and schedule set forth in the Capture Plan. Ensure timely development of final win themes, win strategies, value propositions, and differentiators.
Serves as key member of Capture Team. Maintains project scope documentation, prioritization of work, project schedule, capture budget, progress reporting system, document and meeting management, and quality and timeliness of deliverables. Ensures timely, transparent and efficient planning and completion of project activities. Serves as a point-of-contact in support of the Business Development Director/team for internal and external issue resolution. Initiates timely and targeted escalations for unresolved issues.
Planning:
developing plans based upon a sound knowledge of Capture Plan requirements and objectives
envisioning intended outcomes and working with others to systematically outline the resources and actions that will produce the desired results; anticipating obstacles to strategies and developing contingency plans for use in the event a plan becomes unworkable
Time Management:
Manages time so that the priority of the activities determines the timing and amount of attention they receive, including:
coordinating and organizing multiple activities to maximize productivity
keeping self and program team focused on the priorities for the day
avoiding being sidetracked by less important tasks and activities.
Project Management: Plan and coordinate the effective execution of tasks in support of the Capture Plan.
Project Definition Documentation: Develop required documentation (such as Project Plans, Schedules, Budgets), supporting documentation (Work breakdown structure, compliance matrices, status reports) and analyze costs, benefits and risks of project components.
Demonstratied skills required:
Experience managing deals greater than $100M
Great Organizational skills
Strong background in business practices and knowledge of Federal Aquisition Regulations (FAR) a plus
Project Management Skills a must. Skilled in planning, scheduling, coordination, communication, reporting
Proposals: Ability to support or lead the preparation of major business retention plan tasks
Government Contracting; Experienced and knowledgeable in dealing with government contracting
