Watch: Career Advice This role will gain a comprehensive understanding of Intel's global business and social media strategy and will provide account leadership in expanding our brand vision brand across all social channels. The ability to partner across agency lines and geographies is essential. This position will work closely with our Social Media team to fully execute Intel's social media strategy and will understand how social integrates with the rest of our marketing vehicles in order to shape the direction of our powerful branded social channels. However, success will not be measured just by awards won, but rather but the growth and success of the business we support. Understanding and identifying customer insights to get the work that delivers the vision is key.
This individual has a broad skill set with experience in communications with a specialization in social media. They possess the ability to move quickly and comfortably between multiple projects, channels and project teams. They understand how to leverage customer insight to develop effective communications and have an intimate understanding of how to translate input from marketing into briefs that creatives relate to.
They are comfortable presenting to senior management and can read a room and react accordingly.
Their ability to influence all levels comes from their experience as well as understanding social intelligence.
Job Responsibilities:
Ensure The Agency delivers world class social media, strategy and solutions to the business that are integrated with the overall business strategy, brand positioning and across all social channels. They have a holistic view of the brand and understand where we need to be and what we need to be saying to our customers.
Ensure creative briefs are concise and grounded in the company's strategy and customer insight.
Having a deep understanding of social vehicles to help shape the communication strategy vs passing a business brief through the "process" to the creative teams.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal business partners and channel marketing across the globe, serving as the key social point-of-contact within the internal advertising agency
Work closely with creative leads to make sure creative is developed on strategy, time and on budget
Work with overall team to develop and evolve workflow processes as demand and type of work changes. Manage project workflow and prioritization for execution of projects. As needed, work with teams to reprioritize work and provide alternative options to manage capacity
Help to shape an Integrated process to ensure campaigns are executed consistently across all of our touch points and markets.
Hire, grow and lead the professional development of your account service team. Work with team to provide job assignment/scope and workload balancing to ensure that the project objectives, budgets and timelines can be met. You will be required to oversee the prioritization, coordination and execution of all social campaigns that are in production at any given time. You will work with your Account Managers to determine and incorporate best practices and process improvements to maintain overall account team efficiencies
Qualifications
Requirements/Skills:
Solid brand and marketing strategic skills. Candidate must be able to understand and translate marketing objectives and strategies in a clear and concise way to the creative teams.
Proven project management experience. Must have the ability to manage multiple projects and be able to prioritize then manage expectations of all groups affected.
Ability to lead teams. Must have strong leadership skills and proven ability to develop talent
Relationship building. Proven ability to develop and maintain strong professional relationships with clients, colleagues and external partners.
Deep understanding of advertising and marketing vehicles. From broadcast, to print, in-store, experiential, events, social and content creation and everything in-between.
Deep understanding of traditional and new media vehicles. Ability to help decide where campaigns should live based on knowledge of target and spend levels.
Communication skills. Excellent communication, writing and presentation skills
Early adopter of technology. The stuff we make is really cool. It is important that everything we do exudes this. Knowing it, living it, loving it will really help.
Desire for excitement. Travel required both domestic and international.
Sense of humor. This is going to be a lot of work. Ability to keep it all in perspective will really help!
Experience
Bachelor Degree Required
8 + years of management a team
Agency experience a must. In-house agency experience a plus.
