Director Supply Chain Philips Cleveland

Represent Supply Chain functions on forward production and major product development programs requiring Supply Chain Management (SCM) cross functional collaboration. In this role you will be challenged to lead the SCM projects day-to-day integration with Imaging Systems – Operations (IS-Ops) in the development and execution of hand-over of the New Product Introduction (NPI) projects.

Your Responsibilities:

· Owns the SCM of IS-OPS Integrated Project Plan and the primary cross-functional leadership in the SCM areas: Planning, Procurement, Purchasing and New Product Development.
· Develops the global cross-functional plan/strategy and drives its execution
· Makes daily execution decisions and drives execution mechanisms
· Ensure smooth transition across organization for product development, production and product launch.
· Work and collaborate with Department Managers to understand and continually improve the project management process and tools.
· Recommend/introduce and lead efforts to improve processes and tools to improve productivity, quality and efficiency of the product introduction efficiency.

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:
· Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a technical, coupled with business or financial discipline.
· 10+ years of relevant experience

Desired Qualifications:
· Professional project-management certification a plus.
· Multi-modality medical device industry experience a plus.

Skills:
· Demonstrated experience developing and creating strong functional teams with robust talent pipeline.
· Experience preferably in a regulated/process-oriented environment such as medical device development.
· Demonstrated knowledge of functional management tools (including computer-based tools) and procedures for setting and tracking performance, quality, time and cost.
· Strong communication and organizational skills
· Demonstrated people management skills, including leadership, conflict resolution, assertiveness, negotiation and influence management.
· Ability to understand, track, drill down and question activities and issues in all functional areas and make sound business decisions based upon that data.
· Good presentation skills, appropriate to both upper and lower management and direct labor audiences.
· Strong attention to detail and follow-through skills.
· Develop and create strong functional team with robust talent pipeline
