This role will be responsible for driving our Threat Appliances business and platform software requirements, with impact to all offerings in the Network Security portfolio.
● Understand customer needs and the competitive landscape for network security offerings, including network Advanced Malware Protection (AMP) and Next Generation Intrusion Prevention System (NGIPS) products
● Translate customer needs into strategy and prioritized requirements
● Manage interactions with multiple engineering teams to deliver key enabling capabilities in pursuit of the strategy and business goals from requirements. The ideal candidate will have experience in product delivery with Agile development lifecycles
Minimum Qualifications
● 5+ years of product management experience, ideally with information security offerings delivered as appliances
● Superior analytical skills from qualitative and quantitative perspectives, with the ability to quickly solve problems and identify core issues
● Entrepreneurial spirit, with the ability to identify and overcome challenges through influence and relationship development
● Strong awareness of market-transforming technology trends, with ability to contextualize those trends for technical and non-technical audiences
● Confidence, credibility, poise and the ability to think on your feet
● Bachelor's degree in a technology or business discipline or equivalent experience
