Hub Creation Program Manager WW Inside Sales Microsoft Redmond

The goal of the Program Management Office (PMO) is to increase organizational efficiency implementing new initiatives through effective utilization of resources, excellent communication, change management, and alignment of cross-functional priorities. The PMO plays a pivotal role in the creation and implementation of the regional Hubs in strong collaboration with cross-functional teams across Microsoft, including Finance, Legal, HR, IT, UST, Ops, Facilities and Tax teams. The Workstream PM will lead the holistic planning to scope, plan and implement hubs in strong partnership with global local teams. The Workstream Program Managers will report to the WW Inside Sales PMO Leader.
A successful candidate will be a seasoned Program Manager with ability to develop strong partnerships with effective listening and communication skills across all levels of the organization to influence for desired outcomes. The right candidate will have a proven track record of driving strategy initiatives and effective work as an influencer in high-level cross-organization situations. This position requires extensive cross-group coordination/collaboration and very strong program management skills. Key Responsibilities: Accelerate strategy and transformation of WW Inside Sales, by primarily through the creation and implementation of global hubs, integrated planning and collaboration with key business partners & cross functional teams Contribute to the establishment of global hubs by leading key workstreams & functions to ensure hubs are launched on time, within budget and in alignment to optimal hub design specifications Develop exceptional partnerships to positively influence key business decisions in ensuring optimal hub design and execution Drive strong program and project management utilizing key tools and methodologies that include change management, work back schedules, identifying critical paths and interdependencies and managing risks/issues Monitors and tracks progress of critical activities to ensure hubs are established on time, on spec, and on budget Requirements • 5+ years experience in program management/project management/PMO, with 2+ years in a global capacity. • Ability to influence for needed outcomes and impact across multiple projects, competing priorities in multiple time zones. • Ability to contribute consistently and positively in a high-paced, fast-changing and sometimes unpredictable work environment. • Strong communication, interpersonal, teamwork, and organizational skills. • Flexibility to handle directional changes with the ability to juggle moving priorities to ensure project success. • Proven ability to assess business needs, prioritize accordingly and escalate appropriately. • Analytical thinker with a can-do attitude and flexibility to accommodate to evolving business needs. Key Qualifications Education BS Degree in Business or equivalent. MBA is a plus.
