Leading planning and content for executive customer and partner engagement
Authoring and managing US DX executive communications
Overseeing People and Organization Excellence related programs for US DX, in collaboration with the HR business partners
Driving strategic cross-team initiatives
Becoming a trusted advisor to the US DX and M&O Leadership Teams
Driving operational maturity within the US DX leadership team and broader organization
Specific Accountabilities Include:
Ensure a communication strategy is establish, including: analyzing the end-to-end communication environment for the US DX internal organization and external stakeholders to identify key audiences; aligning them with channels of communication; building an editorial calendar; setting a rhythm for communications related activity that nicely aligns with the business management ROB.
Authoring comms for VP of US DX (content planning, composition, and proofreading of executive communications)
Architect and maintain an up-to-date sharepoint site and document repository for US DX
Drive DX US All Hands meetings, manager's meetings, event participation, etc
Manage a workback schedule and regular sync meetings to keep the executive prepared for all upcoming calendar activities
Ensure local teams have clearly planned out field visits - before, during and after
Ensure that needed meeting materials are created for all exec engagements
Help drive clear ownership of action items coming out of engagements
Provide prioritization and guidance to time allocation in the executive's calendar
Address scheduling, content planning, facilitation and action item tracking for all LT meetings, offsites and events
Drive implementation of FastStart process for commitment setting, calibration, reviews, quota setting, scorecard target cascade, etc
Support the HR Business Partner's People Plan so we deliver on key HR and People milestones, such as: HR QBR's; succession planning; leadership development; etc
Drive the "readiness" strategy and budget in partnership with SMSGR Readiness Manager and DX US managers, track and manage execution according to plan
Build and deliver training to the organization as necessary, and drive completion of all required trainings (i.e. FRI)
Assist with US DX community events at TechReady, MGX, TechEd, PDC, and BUILD
Ensure scheduling and facilitate award and recognition nomination reviews and participate in award review boards
The ideal candidate for this position would have:
A Bachelor’s degree is required with MBA or Master’s degree preferred
At least 8-10 years of work experience, primarily in a high technology industry
Highly detail and process oriented
Project management skills
Sales or marketing experience is preferred
Excellent analytical and organizational skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to deal with ambiguity
Comfortable in a cross group collaborative environment where managing by influence is the norm.
A mix of strong business leadership, operational excellence, and technical passion
Knowledge of the Microsoft organization, the DX business, roles and audiences is a plus.
