Risk Management Operations is a looking for a Director to manage two distinct teams, our Intellectual Property Operations and Payment and Risk Operations. Intellectual Property Operations focus on regulatory matters, including those involving Copyright, Trademark, Privacy and other regional regulatory related issues. Payment and Risk Management Operations focus on building trust in payments for consumers, developers, and advertisers to create and exchange digital goods and services.
The position plays a focal role strategically and tactically, to identify step function changes that will provide a secure and safe place for consumers, merchants, developers and rights holders. The ideal candidate will have excellent communications and relationship building skills at all levels in the organization. The ability to achieve results through others is essential and requires close alignment with legal, product, engineering, sales, finance, business development and sister operation teams to drive Facebook’s most important strategic priorities. This is a full-time role based in our Menlo Park office.
Responsibilities

Oversee and manage broad functions, projects, and teams within the Risk Management Operations Team
Partner with XFN partners to build regulatory and risk management considerations into our future product plans
Collaborate with our legal and finance teams to ensure we are meeting our operational, legal and revenue goals
Scale these global teams by capitalizing on opportunities for increased effectiveness and efficiency by driving key automation and productivity initiatives
Build and retain a world class risk management operations team through providing mentorship, guidance and career development to members of the global team
Help team achieve revenue goals through risk monitoring, fraud investigating, and reviewing merchant activity
Create and improve tools, procedures, and workflows that minimize risk and enhance customer experience
Provide management guidance on organizational effectiveness, change management and conflict resolution, as well as provide expertise in the following areas: career planning, performance management, coaching and data analysis
Requirements

BA or BS Degree or international equivalent
10+ years experience in online operations, risk management, regulatory management, payment industry or consulting
5+ years people management required
Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem solving skills
Proficient identifying, utilizing and communicating performance metrics
Strong relationship management skills and ability to work well within and represent a global organization
Proven ability to influence others without having positional authority
Excellent communication skills
