Our Fixed income Group is seeking a portfolio manager who will join the team responsible for the management of BlackRock's inflation protected bond portfolios.
Key Responsibilities:
Active alpha generation, portfolio construction, portfolio maintenance and client communication.
Use the global rates, currencies and inflation markets to generate alpha across various mandates.
Work with the rest of portfolio management, sharing ideas and views expressed through the lens of the global real rate market.
Build upon relationships with existing clients.
Raise new assets.
Contribute to the ongoing development of the group’s junior analysts, strategists and junior portfolio managers.
Contribute to the research/analytic capabilities within the team.
Experience / Qualifications Required:
Extensive experience in financial markets or modeling experience with leading sell-side or buy-side institution
Excellent knowledge of fixed income market including a detailed understanding of long-only and long-short fixed income investment strategies
Strong knowledge of global inflation market and associated products, both cash and derivatives.
Excellent interpersonal skills and proven ability to coordinate between various groups effectively
Detail-oriented and be able to multi-task effectively
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential
Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance or other quantitative area.
