Build and manage a team of the very top talent - the brightest minds in data science with the ability to not only keep up with, but also pioneer, cutting edge research in this space.
Collaborate with and influence senior leadership (VP and C-level) so that your team’s work directly impacts marketing strategy
Develop new techniques and approaches that will answer new questions
Build upon current tools and methods to enhance rigor and expand to new use cases
Develop deep partnerships with engineering support teams to ensure that your team’s work is turned into robust “data products”
Actively seek patterns across research that can ladder up to high-level truths and communicate for impact
Interface with external parties to ensure that third-party ad tech solutions meet a high standard of scientific rigor
A successful candidate in this role will have the following attributes:
Advanced degree in a quantitative discipline - statistics, operations research, economics, cognitive psychology, etc.
At least 5 years of experience in building and leading a team
A solid track record of recruiting top talent in data science
Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
Success in partnering with both left and right-brain colleagues
The ability to translate technical output into meaningful business insights
Passion for impact above all
Experience in advertising is a plus
