We are looking for a highly driven individual to become the Director of Supply Chain Management & Operations. The role of Director of Supply Chain Management & Operations involves a series of complex activities that vary from those that are strategic and policy-defining to those that are day-to-day and tactical. This role requires a broad range of skills and diversity of knowledge. A successful Director of Supply Chain Management & Operations can provide creative problem definition & analysis and develop complex solutions, initiate and execute tasks with no guidance or procedures & create efficient process disciplines and identify improvements to existing ones, and manage diverse projects that vary in responsibilities and context.

Responsibilities

Supply Chain Management:
Responsible for developing and implementing a contract manufacturing strategy aligned with our New Product introduction and global expansion plans.
Responsible for developing and implementing a Sales and Operational Planning Process
Responsible for developing, documenting, and executing a comprehensive logistics and distribution strategic plan which will drive optimal customer service and profitability
Manage and optimize a global supply chain logistics network
Ensure all regulatory and compliance measures are met within guidelines
Identify and implement best in class technology, infrastructure suitable to the scope and size of the business along with disciplines that underlie a supply chain operation
Develop global implementation of distribution best practices such as systems integration and optimization, inventory control, demand planning, and SKU optimization
Responsible for sourcing, negotiating, supplier management, and supplier quality management for all manufacturing sites.

Inventory Management:
Take a leading role in managing inventory and work toward creating a collaborative, innovative and results-orientated environment with our partners and internal team
Maintain inventory management business practices and serve as subject matter expert for process improvements
Develop and communicate comprehensive financial & product strategies
Reconcile top-down & bottoms-up plans to forecasts
Prepare analysis for use in pricing recommendations and strategies in alignment with financial plans
Implement consistent and profitable in-season replenishment strategies and practices
Develop department wide risk mitigation plans & execute when appropriate

The Successful Applicant

Master’s / Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Supply Chain Management.
Minimum of 7 -10 years management and operational experience with a successful history of managing, training and overseeing a Supply Chain team
Experience working for a technology products company selling to business and consumers.
Experience working with Asian & European manufacturers is a must
Experience with all principles of transportation and warehouse management, in 3rd party logistics environments
Experience and sound understanding of economic and accounting principles, along with forecasting, analyzing data and financial information
Knowledge of best practice supply chain systems, measures and processes
