Manages the business development function and sales of the company's services in a fairly large geographic area, industry or service line. Ensures achievement of strategic revenue objectives for assigned market or industry segment. Primary role is generating, qualifying and closing new business for the Company. Director of Business Development may focus selling to new customers, existing customers or both. Establishes effective communications with appropriate executives, managers and clients to understand their needs and deliver effective proposals (in conjunction with the Service Delivery Pursuit Team). Teams with Service Delivery personnel to effectively execute the sales cycle. Participates actively in a Go To Market team and helps the Go To Market Team achieve its goals.
Qualifications

· Prior sales experience in hunting role and/or account management role managing revenue of more than $8 -10 Million; specific credentials of achieving and overachieving sales quotas
· Selling experience for last 10+ years – Enterprise applications (Oracle, SAP, MS), with special emphasis on selling large multiyear Application Outsourcing deals including Managed Cloud, Data Center Outsourcing, IT Outsourcing, BPO, Application Management, Infrastructure Management, Testing/ QA areas.
· Knowledge of BPO industry and selling BPO deals along with ITO deals is a plus
· Demonstrated case studies in setting up dedicated teams and ODCs for large customers
· Exposure to technical sales and/or delivery and knowledge of global delivery model is a must
· Industry experience (any two):
o Industrial Products (Discrete, Process, HiTech), CPG, Healthcare/Life sciences, Communications & Media
· CXO and Senior IT and Business relationships and personal Networks in a Geo or specific Industry

Additional Skills
· Experience in selling to Fortune 2000 customers desired
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Excellent time management, decision-making, presentation and organizational skills
· Strong Microsoft skills, including PowerPoint, Excel, Access, Project and Visio

Travel
· Regular and expeditious travel throughout the United States and occasionally overseas is required to meet client needs and timetables
· Available to be stationed at and work from an out-of-town client site for an extended period of time
