The Director of Operations is responsible for working across the multiple verticals within Turner Studios to develop and implement a process by which Turner Studios gathers the necessary data in order to determine and report on creative output. Telling the "story" of the work Turner Studios does on a daily basis is critical to the overall success of the organization as well as being necessary to determine the ability to take on new work as requested by our brand partners.
This position will oversee the internal flow of communication across the Turner Studios verticals including (but not limited to) the production and oversight of the website, the process for Turner Studios tour and acting as project manager for new projects (stretching over multiple verticals as well) as necessary. This position is also responsible for the physical space of Turner Studios including renovation projects, moves and any necessary maintenance.
What will you be doing?
Responsible for the flow of communication within Turner Studios.
Overseeing the production and maintenance of the website, the process for the TS tours as well as the creation/updating/distribution of the calendar detailing all projects and events happening with TS.
Manage Operations Mgr in this effort.
Developing and implementing a process working for gathering and reporting on the creative output from Turner Studios.
Working closely with Network and Brand partners as well as overseeing efforts across TS verticals.
Oversee project management for projects that stretch over multiple areas or that do not have a clear lead.
Oversee project management new opportunities for TS independent content creation.
Implementing the Studio's strategic plan particularly with regard to coordinating plans for all space including temporary office space, moves and temporary housing as required.
Oversee all design, construction and renovations including plan development, contract administration, selection of design and construction providers, movers, furniture and on-site supervision.
What do we require from you?
Minimum 8 years of project management experience, experience in large media company preferred.
Ability to think creatively and strategically to successfully mediate and negotiate with individuals and groups internally and externally.
Strong project management skills.
Able to balance competing priorities, complex situations and tight deadlines -
Excellent written, verbal, presentation and interpersonal communication skills
College Degree or equivalent experience.
