The Director of Business Operations, will direct the overall administrative functions related to Customer Billing and Reporting. This position will be tasked with automating the current processes, interfacing with internal and external customers, and delivering enhanced capabilities for our diverse customer requirements. Responsibilities:

Organizes, reviews and manages the daily activities of the Customer Service, Contracts, Supply Fulfillment and Order Management groups to ensure optimum productivity and customer satisfaction.
Ensure a highly professional and productive staff through selective recruitment, training and development of all employees. Cross-training of staff to ensure improved efficiencies of operations.
Establish, manage and report key performance indicators for all departmental functions
Continually review current business processes and existing applications solutions supporting them and identify improvements for the short and long term strategic direction
Implement policies, standards, performance criteria and metrics to continuously improve productivity and quality.
Negotiate settlements and make critical financial decisions on behalf of company after consulting with Senior Leadership
Develop and analyze activity based reporting to provide meaningful feedback to Management.
Review and analyze Departmental P/L data and provide feedback.
Develop automated solutions for data capture in order to streamline operations, billing and reporting.
Participate in Management meetings and discussions, and provide meaningful input into the generation and modification of policies and procedures.
Coordinate with technical support on process and system issues and improvements.
Provide direct customer service and answer questions regarding billing and reporting.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or equivalent; MBA a plus
Minimum 10 years’ experience preferably within a large corporate environment, knowledge of industry/best practices
5+ years supervisor/management experience leading a large group with diverse experience and knowledge
Excellent problem solving, analytical and organizational skills
Extensive experience with business process design and evaluation
Demonstrate excellent judgment and decision making
Strong financial acumen
Continuous improvement experience with proven results
Able to meet strict deadlines and work effectively under pressure
Ability to carry out assigned projects to completion; establish and maintain solid relations with staff members and internal customers
Strong Microsoft Office background, particularly Excel and Power Point, required
Prior Oracle experience is a plus
