Responsible for prospecting, targeting, presenting and coordinating all World Cup and Olympics sales efforts for existing and first time television/internet advertisers for the Telemundo Owned Television Stations/ Affiliates Responsible for revenue generation utilizing TV, Internet, Out of Home, Mobile, Integrations and drive the Hispanic efforts.
Work, independently and in partnership, with multiple offices of NBCOTS’s National Sales Organization (NSO) to develop revenue opportunities at the decision making level of advertising agencies and direct clients. Work with in-house promotional partner to conceptualize, create and execute deals.
Blend expertise in sports sponsorship with NBCUniversal assets to achieve client objectives.
In the World Cup and Olympic role you are expected to:
Ability to prospect, develop new business and grow client base for existing and new accounts
Make presentations to both agencies and clients to ascertain their marketing needs
Embrace, understand, target, pitch and close our important initiatives: World Cup, Olympics, Boxing, and other sports.
Provide world class customer service, efficiency and competency
Execute seven to eight figure deals
Deliver exceptional post-sale customer service in order to receive renewals
Thrive in a fast- pace work environment with focus on team atmosphere
Manage multiple deals at once
Attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor’s degree.
Minimum eight years of media sales, sponsorship, league/ team sales or marketing focusing on client direct relationships
Successful track record of custom sales successes.
Experience with Salesforce, Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Word.

Depth of Knowledge of soccer and specifically FIFA and World cup desired.

Highly organized and able to communicate clearly verbally as well as in writing.
