The Business Communications team touches all of Turner’s entertainment, news, sports and kids brands, and is heavily involved with brand strategy and execution around notable industry events throughout the year, including CES and the Turner Upfront. This position is vital to ensuring Turner is continually positioned as an industry leader in data and content, and ultimately an attractive media partner to advertising brands.
Awareness around Turner’s intersection of sales, data and research is a priority for the company, with storylines spanning branded content, social monetization, native advertising, audience targeting and more. This is an attractive position to someone interested in gaining experience across a wide variety of content genres, while overseeing strategy for the best business leaders in today’s media landscape.
What will you be doing?
Manage media relations and internal communications across Turner’s Ad Sales, Research and Data divisions.
Align closely with brand counterparts to ensure messaging is on point, as well as sales, research and data executives on press communication, panels and conferences, client communication & strategy and overall industry awareness.
Reports to the Vice President, Business Communications
What do we require from you?
Bachelor's Degree
7 – 9 years of experience
Strong media relations contacts across media sectors is a must.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Media and/or television news experience in a large scale organization strongly preferred.
An awareness of new distribution models and advertising tools within the media industry strongly preferred.
