PepsiCo is looking for a creative, results-oriented Marketing Director who thrives in a fast-paced, innovative marketing environment to work on one of our key brands. This experience will develop and showcase the ability to strategically evaluate business opportunities, develop deep consumer empathy to address consumer-based opportunities, and bring them to market to positively impact brand equity, business sales and profitability. This role will hone skills in building strong team dynamics, dealing with ambiguity, influencing up to the highest levels of the organization, and driving for results.
Blending strong internal capabilities with creative, external perspectives, the successful candidate will champion new initiatives that demonstrate breakthrough thinking. With direct access to senior executives, this individual will lead highly visible projects that will have a significant impact on the direction and performance of the company.

Key Accountabilities:

Define the strategy and direction for Better Together breakfast initiatives
Lead the creation of brand positioning, including agency briefing process
Lead cross-functional teams to execute Better Together projects to successful completion, including the successful launch of new programs/initiatives
Lead the development of communications and content around our brands that drive consumer excitement and incent purchase
Apply in-depth understanding of consumer insights, including demographic/psychographic trends, consumer perceptions/attitudes, need states, motivations, and purchase/consumption behavior to advance the business
Partner closely and collaborate with Nutrition leads to execute projects & initiatives
Leverage key variables of the P&L - volume, product cost, pricing, trade spend to evaluate and develop propositions, recommending a course of action based on the profit plan impact
Strong capability in developing and designing implementation plans to drive execution
Demonstrate strong leadership and significant influence management skills with the ability to gain credibility with a broad group of people - team members, regional and functional peers, regional and global leadership
Define creative, out-of-the-box thinking to identify white space opportunities for breakfast and formulate an approach to address the identified opportunity

Qualifications/Skills:

8-10 years of marketing experience in a variety of positions
BA required (MBA strongly preferred)
Highly analytical, motivated, decisive thought leader with excellent managerial skills
Strategic mind with an ability to think broadly, refine questions, and influence multiple decision makers
Ability to effectively collaborate, communicate and influence in a matrix environment.
Experience in the broader Consumer Goods space
Thought leadership and commercial implementation with a track record of developing and delivering high impact and successful consumer products strategies
Track record of taking calculated risks for the long-term benefit of the organization and is thereby considered an extremely progressive thought-leader
Communication skills that is able to educate and influence management and senior leaders to act in a desired manner through written and verbal communication
Prior experience leveraging consumer insights to develop effective marketing programs and campaigns
