Job Description:
This position will be part of Corporate Accounting’s Central Team, with specific oversight and management responsibilities of the Operations Support Team. The team supports Corporate Accounting’s operational functions, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Billing and Shareholder Accounting with process governance, issue remediation/support, project management, and technology needs. The Director will work with Senior Leadership to identify/prioritize future technology enhancements, manage key projects and initiatives, and to deliver support to the operational teams.
The position requires relationship management, collaboration, program management and strong leadership. In addition, an ideal candidate will be a thought leader with strategic and critical thinking skills, as well as strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills. Approximately 25% of travel will be required.
Position Responsibilities:
Accountable for the management of a team of 3-5 Business Analysts, including goal setting, prioritization, performance management and other career development activities
Inspire and guide the Operations Support team towards critical thinking and to proactively identify innovative opportunities for improvements
Establish and oversee an operational governance model to ensure that key processes are operating as expected, and that issues are identified and remediated on a timely bases
Prepare for, and lead effective meetings with Senior Leadership across various functions, including Corporate Accounting, Technology and other business partners
Work with Senior Leadership to proactively identify and prioritize technology and key initiatives to further enhance our technology solutions, implement process improvements and strengthen the control environment
In collaboration with Technology and business partners, provide recommendations and alternatives of efficient and cost effective technology/process solutions to business problems, to ensure the most optimal outcome
Establish project and resource plans, ensuring that associates skills and experiences are aligned
Manage stakeholder relationships and expectations for multiple projects including monitoring of key milestones, escalation/resolution of issues, influencing outcome of initiatives, and provide expert opinion of related matters
Responsible for the oversight of adherence with established issue resolution and technology development processes, including requirements gathering, communications, documentation, analysis, data validation and testing
Enable end user adoption of technology and process enhancement with overseeing the development of collateral, execution of training and effective communications
Other duties, responsibilities, and qualifications may be required and/or assigned as necessary

Strong systems knowledge, for example with complex financial systems and multi-dimensional reporting tools
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree required, MBA preferred
10 – 12+ years of experience
Minimum of seven years of experience in supporting operational functions
Experience in accounts payable, procurement, accounts receivable and billing organizations a plus
Demonstrated experience in project management required; PMP certification preferred
Experience in Six Sigma or other process improvement frameworks desirable
Experience in Oracle eBusiness Suite, procure to pay, receivables and billing applications highly desirable
