Job Description:
We're searching for an uncommonly talented director of streaming to lead our team to the next level in quality, innovation, and organization. This position reports to the Senior Director of Techops, and is responsible for leading both engineering and operations for TuneIn’s next generation streaming platform. You’ll be collaborating with product and design teams, content editors and show producers, NOC personnel, operations, and QA. You'll work from our beautiful office in San Francisco, across the street from AT&T Park.

You can and often do jump in at all levels
You grow your team and constantly work to make every individual better
You embrace change and lead through it
What you bring to the table:
Proven leadership of agile teams from 3-5+ with at least one end-to-end architecture and design credit to your name.
Strong technical insight and previous experience with streaming technologies. RTMP, HLS, Shoutcast, Edge vs Origin.
Cloud-first architectural modeling and deployment experience
Hands-on full stack development focus - server side, web, mobile
Ability to wade in and adapt as you go. Ops and development are two sides of the same coin and this team needs to understand both.
Knowledge of what it takes to scale - operationally, organizationally, and in code
Dedication, drive, and a commitment to success
5+ years experience leading technical teams
