Job Description:
The Director of Retail Sales purpose is to lead a multifunctional team to successfully deliver financial and efficiency based metrics over all of the Sales Operations functions. In addition, this person is responsible for working with Retail Partners and other key customers to obtain mutual goals. Through a culture which mimics the company's Purpose Statement, the Director of Retail Sales is responsible for working directly with the Market Unit Vice President to foster an environment of development and sustainable growth.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and lead Area Managers to achieve financial and efficiency based goals across all functions of Sales Operations.
Achieve budgeted operating income results through timely execution of company initiatives and cost management.
Foster and cultivate positive trade relations with key customers to help achieve mutual goals.
Cross Collaborate with internal Coke Consolidated Partners (i.e. Customer Development and Logistics Teams) to seamlessly deliver the company's plans.
Build a positive work environment through leading the Consolidated Way.
Must embrace the Servant Leadership philosophy which is the foundation of our culture.
Provide an environment for growth of all stakeholders in the Market Unit. It's imperative our employees are able to grow with the ever changing needs and demands of our markets.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR CONSIDERATION:
3+ years of experience leading a team of managers or department leads.
A 4 year degree or 7 plus years of equivalent industry experience preferred.
5+ years of Customer Relations experience.
Excellent communication and organization skills.
Prior experience managing financial P & L’s preferred.
Must be a self-starter and able to lead without consistent supervision.
