Job Description:
Shutterstock is looking for an experienced, dedicated, passionate and service oriented IT Director who will lead and scale our global IT teams. This role will be focused on addressing challenges such as optimizing team efficiencies across geographies, security, automation, evaluating and adopting new technologies in order to keep pace with Shutterstock’s explosive growth.
Responsibilities:

Provide leadership to build, direct and retain a high performing IT team. Mentor, develop and present appropriate opportunities for advancement to your team.
Align IT strategy with overall company and business objectives, build supportive work/project plans and generate quantifiable improvement metrics.
Standardize technologies globally, setting and implementing policies and processes.
Provide ongoing support and continual improvement for an international IT environment.
Develop, advocate for, and track IT budgets.
Lead product evaluations, negotiate contracts, and maintain relationships with a broad range of IT vendors.
Manage and lead multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Operate a service organization where the team is accountable for service delivery to internal customers.
Build positive relationships with the Executive team, department directors and managers.
Work with other departments to define business requirements and negotiate priorities for IT projects.
Basic Qualifications:

You have 10+ years of relevant experience in Information Technology – preferably in a variety of roles and organizations, 3-5 years in a leadership role managing a team.
Experience with LAN/WAN network design, storage, Google Apps, Windows and Linux Servers, OS X, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, Group Policy, Network Policy Server, Enterprise Anti-Virus Administration, Systems Management and Security Policies.
Experience building highly-available high-performance corporate networks for VoIP and videoconferencing.
Familiarity with managing multiple SaaS productivity systems such as Google Apps, Salesforce and DocuSign.
Strong customer service, organizational, prioritization, multitasking, communication and leadership skills.
Ability to adjust quickly to changing priorities and make quick decisions with limited information.
Ability and willingness to balance frontline support with projects.
Preferred Qualifications:
MBA or equivalent business management experience.
Experience delivering to SLA based service constraints and operational metrics.
Experience leading Agile software development efforts.
Experience in managing global teams.
Development, configuration management and scripting experience.
