The financial analyst will interface with various levels of management on a regular basis. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Manage monthly billing process and deliverables– liaise between account staff and billing department, review and manage billing reports, and ensure billing deadlines are met
Maintain and assist in the preparation of client contracts, as needed
Partner with project manager to prepare client budgets in line with statements of work and upload them in financial system
Support project set up process and ensure proper project maintenance

Distribute aged receivables reports to management; assist in collecting commentary and liaise with Accounts Receivable
Assist finance team and account staff with time, expense and purchase order support on a monthly basis
Review monthly fee and expense details – pull back up as needed and ensure proper coding of expenses
Assist with monthly P&L forecasting and budgeting support as needed
Support the department by maintaining files, contracts and other relevant documentation
Assist in special projects as assigned
Assist with development of internal budgets, forecasts and projections
Calculate and project monthly revenues based on active contracts and client billings
Run financial queries upon staff request
Review missing time reports weekly and follow up with delinquencies
Prepare and/or review management reporting and flag issues

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
The candidate should possess a minimum of a bachelor’s degree and one or more years of experience in the finance and accounting arena. The ideal candidate will:
Have advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office with special emphasis in Excel
Previous experience working with PeopleSoft or other ERP systems is strongly desired
Be customer service oriented and foster positive working relationships
Be well organized with a strong attention to detail
Possess strong time management and project management skills
Have a strong ability to understand priorities and to multi-task
Be comfortable working independently in a fast paced environment
Show initiative and a have a proactive, positive attitude
