Job Description:
This position will provide strategic and tactical leadership on all aspects of Corporate Training & Development, global HR compliance and onboarding, as well as HR Technology. This hybrid role will partner with others across HR and other departments to oversee the roadmap of Workday HCM and other HR Systems, ensuring effective delivery of new functionalities as well as efficient day-to-day operations. The role will manage the development and delivery of a variety of Learning and Development programs, coordinate domestic and international HR compliance efforts, champion the employee onboarding process and oversee a unified approach to HR technology systems to align with organizational goals and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a team of two direct reports with an opportunity to lead company’s global approach to all employee training & development, onboarding, workplace compliance, and HR technology functions as follows:
Training
Create a Learning and Development framework that addresses the company’s various training and development needs and objectives
Continually build internal bench-strength of talent at all levels by assessing skillsets, identifying needs and developing enrichment strategies
Partner with senior leaders and HR Generalists to design and implement leadership and hi-potential development strategies and successional talent pipelines
Drive the development of employee skills and performance through effective training, coaching and mentoring programs
Select and create materials and delivery methods for a variety of topics (e.g., new employee orientation, technical and core skills training, performance management and leadership training) including applicable solutions for employees on the “road” or in remote offices
Compliance
Develop and oversee employee onboarding procedures globally, maximizing compliance with applicable law and company policies and objectives
Configure and administer course installations, monitoring, reporting, and ensuring compliance at all levels and WWE locations
Maintain close relationships with WWE international and domestic offices in partnership with HR Generalists, including periodic travel to foster business partner relationships and monitor compliance
Develop strategies to implement and manage employment and workplace related compliance initiatives
Technology (HRIS)
Oversee HRIS initiatives and support the organization’s strategic objectives through Workday and other HCM systems, collaborating with other leadership arms of HR and other heavy users
Provide technical support and serve as subject matter expert to educate system users on how to navigate and utilize HR systems in the most efficient manner
Design and develop key reporting tools and metrics in order to deliver impactful, accurate and timely reports with insights
Ensure data integrity for all HR systems and reports
Qualifications:
8+ years experience in corporate training and development, executive coaching and compliance training
Experience in succession planning, management development and mentoring programs
8+ years hands-on HRIS experience including at least one year of Workday experience
Strong working knowledge of Workday HCM application including HCM Fundamentals, Recruiting, Payroll and HR Compliance requirements
Experience implementing Workday functionality into existing infrastructure
Solid knowledge of HR systems, infrastructure, and the development and delivery of HR metrics/dashboards
Management experience required
Familiarity with international operations and remote locations for a dynamic global corporation preferred
Strategic, critical thinker and change agent who can execute tactically while maintaining a view of long term goals and company objectives
Excellent organizational, written and verbal communications, presentation, interpersonal and project management skills
Bachelor degree in Business, Information Systems, Human Resources, or related field of study preferred
Training certifications a plus (e.g., DISC, MBT, Hogan, etc.)
Ability to work nights, weekends, and to travel based on business need
