Job Description:
The Marketing Account Director will be an integral part of Heat’s business outreach and pitch efforts, and will be on the front lines with senior clients at highly visible brands. It is imperative that this person be comfortable with high-level marketing conversations with Fortune 100 companies, a self-starter who can learn and shape our pitching protocols, works well with others, and can lead while also do.
This person must have a calm, rational, and balanced management style; and be a polished communicator with great instincts. In your role, you will:

• Field and respond appropriately to all new business inquiries, and be a point of contact throughout the new business pipeline
• Shepherd the process of attaining new business from RFP to contract (strategy for response, resourcing, writing, internal approvals, meetings, rehearsals, final materials, pitch prep, client contact, etc).
• Serve as an integral part of all meetings with pitch consultants: strategy, outreach, prep, presenting, following up
• Mentor junior team members so they are able to take on their own prospects
• Upon signing of new clients, create staffing plans, scopes, review MSAs with Director of Operations / legal team, and transition account to Director of Client Services and appropriate account management team

Required:
• Bachelor’s degree
• 5+ years of solid account management experience at an advertising agency
• Proficiency in Keynote or Microsoft Powerpoint

• Ability to travel up to 30%

Preferred:
• Experience with new business
• Experience with both digital and broadcast
• Good problem-solving abilities
• Experience with Adobe CS a plus
