Job Description:
The Senior Director, Product Management (Marketing Cloud Services) is a key role for ensuring market success, client satisfaction and driving our Professional Services product roadmap and offerings. You will develop a deep understanding of market needs and competitive knowledge, articulating product vision and strategy, creating and communicating the roadmap, and driving the product lifecycle. The Senior Director, Product Management is highly engaged with all areas of the business and works closely with user experience, product marketing, sales, and services delivery to deliver world-class products.
As a Senior Director, Product Management you will be customer driven and constantly seek input from prospects, customers, advisory boards, sales, support, and internal subject matter experts. This position reports to the Vice President of Global Services.

Responsibilities

Work with customers, sales teams, and services teams to identify product use cases.
Work collaboratively with marketing teams to develop marketing plans, positioning, core messaging, presentations, and sales tools to support the launch of new products.
Increase adoption of existing products and development of new ones.
Conduct customer and market research: customer interviews, survey feedback, win/loss reports, and competitive analysis.
Partner on marketing, launch and enablement: identify key benefits and differentiation to support product positioning, identify target customers, provide content and materials for sales and services enablement, assist Product Marketing with the go-to-market plan.
Prioritize and manage maintenance items for your products as necessary.
Represent the Marketing Cloud team as a domain and product expert at customer interactions, industry and corporate events. You are the evangelist internally and externally for your products.
Participate in customer-facing events and user conferences as a product expert
Work with industry analysts and product reviewers to articulate the value proposition and differentiators in the offering.

Requirements

BA/BS degree is required, MBA preferred
8+ years product management experience for professional services, enterprise applications and/or integrated solutions
Possess a broad operating range, from strategic planning to tactical details
Experience building cross channel campaign management products is a plus
Understanding of the roles in marketing and the processes marketers follow to deploy marketing campaigns
Truly enjoy interacting with customers to help understand and solve their problems
Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
Previous experience in a product, engineering, project management or services role in a SaaS company
Strong organizational skills, excellent written and oral communication skills, including experience in high-level business discussions
Experience with functional requirements and specifications
Self-starter, broad thinker, strategic planner, analytical skills
Exhibit a unique blend of business and technical savvy
Ability travel for customer meetings, attend events, product launches
