Job Description:
You will demonstrate your keen ability to understand customer and market needs, and translating them into compelling new product solutions and proposals. You will also develop and deploy detailed multi-channel global market introduction campaigns including product branding, product positioning and market awareness. This will require strategies to promote trial and adoption, public relations and sales training.
Showcase your expertise by developing a comprehensive understanding of competitive dynamics in target market segments, appropriately positioning Global chemical products and driving execution of a coherent marketing strategy. You will collaborate with individual site leaders as well as cross functional marketing employees, which will demand excellent coordination and communication between factory and field organizations related to product development roadmaps, competitive developments, market trends.

As The Senior Director Global Marketing You Will
Develop a systematic and agile program to conduct comprehensive market/competitive analysis to support sales and incorporate that information into future action plans
Responsible for identifying external or internal collaborators to accelerate growth by application and product capability innovations
Oversee the creation of effective marketing collateral
Manage marketing budgets and optimize the promotional mix on campaigns to achieve a high return on investment.
Building market models and understanding market trends
Enhance existing web design, development & experience to maximize customer satisfaction and spend within the Global Chemicals product line
Build effective relationships with Commercial, R&D, Customer Service and other key functions to ensure a successful launch and adoption of new products
Ensure that unfulfilled customer needs within target market underlie new business development initiatives including both new products and services.
Effectively manage a high functioning an performing team in various locations
Special projects as assigned in connection with Thermo Fisher Scientific, Global Chemical or LPG Group goals and strategy.
Support the marketing initiatives through a multi-channel environment

Requirements
Bachelor degree in chemistry, marketing, business or a related disciple. An advanced degree is preferred; MBA or equivalent executive business education a plus.
10+ years practical experience in Marketing , specifically including tactical, digital, e-commerce & product development.
Travel anticipated in the range of 40% on an annual basis (domestic and international).
The ability to interact with both customers and co-workers at all levels of the organization, along with the ability to work effectively in a matrixed organization.
Requires proven reasoning abilities, sound judgment and excellent communications skills.
Financial understanding sufficient to develop business plans, ROI models and the like is essential.
