Job Description:
Personal Investing (PI) and Workplace Investing (WI), units of Fidelity Personal, Workplace and
Institutional Services (PWIS), help millions of people save and invest through individual retail
accounts and workplace savings plans. PI and WI build lifetime relationships with customers and provide employers with cost-effective, integrated employee benefit solutions. The companies serve customers online, over the phone, and through a nationwide network of investor centers.
The Customer Knowledge and Strategic Insights (CKSI) group provides innovation, leading-edge expertise, methodology and quality delivery in customer marketing and information consulting; customer contact planning, execution and optimization; customer and marketing measures and analysis; effective decision science approaches and efficient multi-channel marketing operations. The Director position is within the Marketing Effectiveness group of CKSI.


Responsibilities:

This role is a strong measurement analytics expert that will help optimize Fidelity’s marketing efforts. This ideal candidate will be responsible for driving continuous improvement in email, direct mail and other targeted marketing communications through creating experiments, conducting analysis to unearth key insights and providing actionable recommendations.


Takes the lead for developing test strategy and measurement plans
Develop and implement analyses for improving targeting and promotional response
Act as SME implementing new methodologies and approaches to measure marketing effectiveness
Analyze data to uncover hidden patterns and insights for marketing programs
Synthesizes and delivers actionable findings for marketing programs to business leaders
Develop dashboards that demonstrates performance of campaigns

Desired Skills and Experience
Education and Experience

10+ years of relevant experience in test design / measurement analytics experience
Extensive hands-on measurement analytics experience including crafting the methodology, to data mining using tools like SAS, SQL, R, SPSS, and ultimately delivering final insightful recommendations
Experience with test design scenarios on marketing campaigns
Experience with dashboard tools such as Tableau or Qlikview
Experience with big data technologies / languages such as Hadoop, Apache Pig, Hive
Graduate degree preferred but not required
