Job Description:
The Director, Product Marketing will be responsible for identifying market opportunity, analyzing addressable markets, creating and executing business case plans, working with product management and engineering to frame the overarching plan, identify feature sets required to meet merchant expectations and then launching new products that enhance the platform. He/She will be responsible for assessing, quantifying and recommending new potential markets, partners and feature sets, related competitive analysis, product specification requirements, building business plan and models, pricing and adoption techniques and executing a go-to-market strategy in conjunction with other company executives.
The role reports to the VP Product and will deal extensively with the CEO, CFO, SVP Marketing and the executive team.
Responsibilities include:
Responsible for ongoing market and trend analysis (such as share, revenue trends, feature sets, etc.), market demand, demand drivers, competitive analysis an SWOT analysis.
Work closely with the Marketing, Product Management and Engineering and Executive teams to define differentiated positioning for Cloud based SaaS products and develop and execute the strategy to communicate the positioning to key stakeholders.
Create the Product Business and Launch Plans, including, Pricing Strategy and Sales and Channel Strategy.
Increase the SMB team’s pitch-to-close ratio and identify barriers in the sales process and propose solutions.
Gather, monitor and regularly report market intelligence, continuously analyze competitive positioning.

Excellent writer with polished presentation, communication and listening skills.
Experience turning complex technical concepts into simple messages and stories.
Strong organizational skills and demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders at once.
Expert in the use of PowerPoint, Excel, Salesforce, Adobe Creative Suite and other marketing applications.
Team player with a Creative flair, an entrepreneurial bent and a bias to get things done.
Requirements:
4-6 years of work experience in a marketing, product marketing and/or product management role.
Experience at a SaaS company and/or expertise launching in SaaS products.
Experience in the technology industry, with a strong understanding of the landscape, is ideal.
Success in a growth stage company is ideal.
Working knowledge of the SMB space is required.
Bachelor’s degree required, MBA preferred
Outstanding presentation skills. You will be asked to present to our growing product team. Passion for managing amazing user-centric products.
Experience managing API related projects is a huge plus, though not required.
