Job Description:
The Director of Conference Planning is responsible for coordinating, supervising and directing all aspects of the Conference Planning Department, while maintaining profitable operations and high quality products and service levels. S/he is expected to maximize revenues and exceed budgeted revenues, and to develop and implement strategies to increase business.

Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have at least five (5) years of progressive experience in a luxury hotel environment and/or related field. Experience in overseeing Conference Planning and Managing with CMP certification highly desirable. S/he needs excellent literacy skills to read BEOs, process gratuities and payroll, etc. Extensive Social, Wedding and Event Sales experience in the luxury environment will be strongly preferred. Ability to lead, sale, manage and motivate a team in a very fast work environment. Ideal candidate is extremely organized, can successfully manage multiple projects at once and has a keen sense of style & attention to detail.
