Job Description:
Work with Event Manager or Lead to understand strategy, messaging and objectives to apply to Marcomm & Demand Gen plan
Ensure brand and creative consistency in all marcomm deliverables
Plan & execute demand generation activities across all conferences in North America and
the Global Conference series
demand gen plan for event, target audience and
timeline execution via agency
Provide strategic social plan (and execution, as
needed) for all social media placements to augment
demand gen plan and registration needs
Align advertising and PR plans to amplify messaging
Define telemarketing requirements
Manage a team of 4+/- Marketing
Communications leaders with expertise in Social,
Eloqua, DM, Communications & Branding
Signage
Responsible for event signage plan, vendor selection
and production of deliverables
In assigned situations, will handle onsite placement
Collateral
Plan and production of deliverables
Mobile App plan, content and alerts (working with
event manager)
Digital Strategy including Event Website
Coordination with internal team or external vendor to
define initial web pages, provide guidance
Qualifications
Participate in the development and execution of corporate events marketing programs.
Manages, through lower level managers and directors, a team of events specialists in support of objectives and strategies for the overall effectiveness and execution of marketing events globally. Held acccountable to map events to influenced and direct pipeline. Contributes to strategic and tactical planning for the division. Responsible for coaching, performance management, and career development of staff. Participates in the recruiting process and makes hiring decisions. Manages budget. Participates in development of objectives and strategies for the overall effectiveness and execution of marketing events. Manages and executes projects and marketing plans intended to maximize company exposure. Works with internal/external resources to obtain needed materials and services. Manages relationships with outside vendors. Participates in implementation of organizational changes in line with changing business and market.
Directs and ensures the implementation of operational policies through subordinate managers. Interact internally and externally with executive management, providing negotiation of difficult matters to influence policy. Functional expertise and broad company knowledge important. Software business management experience, and Marketing experience in the high-tech industry preferred. Proven leadership skills. Effective written and verbal communication skills. 7 - 10 years previous people management experience. Proven ability to manage budget, approval processes, resource allocations. Professional credentials in Marketing. Academic credentials desirable. Past experience in event planning and execution desirable.
