The Strategy & Transformation team works on the key strategic challenges facing the business. The Director of Strategic Initiatives position has exposure to all functional areas and leadership across the airline and is seen as a way to bring talented and ambitious people into the organization. After performing well in the role successful candidates will be given the opportunity to move into a business line leadership role.
Key Responsibilities
Work with initiative sponsors and lead cross-functional teams to execute projects, deliver results, and ensure organizational ownership
Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis to frame and solve key strategic and tactical business issues for Hawaiian
Define, plan and manage a large, diverse portfolio of projects to completion, on-time and on-budget
Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership
Manage external consultants and internal team resources
Negotiate commercial terms and contract with external vendors
Identify and scope initiatives that have the potential to significantly change and improve how HA does business

Basic Requirements
MBA
7 years professional experience with at least 3 years consulting or strategic planning experience
Excellent analytical and quantitative skills
Project management experience
Excel and PowerPoint skills
Preferred Qualifications
Quantitative/analytical undergraduate degree or work experience
Airline or related industry experience
Experience presenting to senior executives
