Job Description:
Pandora is looking for a Benefits & Wellness leader to support its rapidly growing population. This person will be responsible for creating, managing and driving all aspects of Pandora’s benefits strategy. The ideal candidate will have solid experience developing strategic benefit plans as well as management of the administration of the day-to-day programs.
Responsibilities:
Further develop and continue the implementation of Pandora’s benefits strategy to ensure the alignment of the benefits package with the overall recruiting and business objectives
Manage all aspects of the annual renewal and Open Enrollment including partnering with our benefits consultant to implement new plans, configuring the Benefits Administration System, communicating changes to management and staff, and conducting onsite information sessions
Provide support and consultation to internal team who oversee’s the day-to-day health plan administration including new hire enrollments, terminations and qualifying event changes
Respond to and resolve complex benefit escalations
Continue to expand Pandora’s Pumped! wellness program and to coordinate Pumped! events and annual fair
Manage ongoing employee workshops and education both onsite and online
Act as the point-person for outsourced leave of absence program and COBRA administration
Manage the 401(k) plan including non-discrimination testing, 5500 filing, annual audit, and the 401(k) committee
Partner with Pandora’s Payroll team to regularly perform audits on all benefit-related deductions including HSA contributions, imputed income, retroactive deductions, and W-2 benefit reporting
Focus on building a global benefits strategy and experience integrating newly acquired companies
Participate in benchmarking surveys to regularly analyze Pandora’s benefit package against the market
Partner with Pandora’s Legal team to ensure compliance of health care plan documents, policies, postings, eligibility, and Affordable Care Act requirements
Act as the owner of the Pandora Employee Resource Group (PERG) program
Desired Skills and Experience
BS/BA degree with 10+ years of benefit plan experience managing programs within the high tech industry
Prior experience in benefits strategy and plan administration
Strong vendor management experience
Proven experience implementing and rolling out company-wide programs
Strong previous experience managing a 401(k) plan
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and also to work autonomously to run Pandora’s benefit programs from start to finish
Strong communication skills and presentation skills, both written and verbal
Solid understanding of PPACA, FMLA, HIPAA, COBRA and ERISA
Experience with M&A activity including due diligence and integration strategy
Experience implementing and/or administering international benefit plans preferred
