This role will lead the Investor Relations and Communications efforts of the new Hertz Equipment Rental company. The individual will be responsible for the company’s communications efforts with employees, the investment community, the media, and the local community. The individual will play a supporting role to senior team members and will report directly to the CFO. Specific responsibilities will include:
Designs and manages investor and public relations communications strategy & programs
Creates internal and external communications materials, including press releases, annual reports, investor presentations, and fact books
Develops and maintains relationships with key investor, media, and other constituents
Acts as intermediary between management and internal and external stakeholders to deliver relevant feedback
Timely response to all inquiries from external stakeholders
Oversees IR and communications webpages
Vendor selection and oversight

5+ years finance experience, and 5+ years direct experience in IR
BA/BS degree required, MBA preferred
Experience working with and reporting directly to executive management
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and relationship-building capabilities
Experience using FactSet, FirstCall, Bloomberg, or other related IR software programs
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Must be willing to travel as required
