Job Description:
We are looking for a high-energy, strategic and creatively driven individual who has run Account teams for Social Media agencies and has a deep understanding of the holistic social media experience in today's world. This individual will have an innate passion for driving compelling and relevant messaging strategies for social platforms and partner closely with our Digital Creative Director and Digital Marketing team.
This role requires the ability to work across business units, and with our digital/social agency partners. If you have managed consumer/brand focused social media programs, understand how to reach Millenials, the creative development process and have a passion for how Intel technology is creating amazing experiences around the world, we'd like to talk with you.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding and experience in developing and overseeing engaging, relevant social media experiences that are fundamentally different than traditional advertising and can demonstrate this understanding through examples of past work. The candidate should also have a deep understanding of today's social media trends, experience in capturing consumer/market insights and leveraging these insights into creative briefs for social media storytelling. The candidate can move seamlessly between multiple projects, has strong people and communication skills, high emotional intelligence and strong presentation skills. Management of medium size teams also key for success in this role.
Job Responsibilities
Lead Intel's global social media programs from strategy and ideation through content development to create world-class brand experiences through social media
Provide strategic input into the work and thinking
Provide the road map of what it takes to manage multiple social media projects from start to finish while managing timelines and the needs of multiple business partners
Be a great partner to the Digital Marketing team and the Creative Directors
Evaluate current social media programs and provide recommendations for enhancements
Evaluate creative briefs and project mapping including tactical plans to drive impeccable execution
Establish relationships with our global partners
Partner closely with the Digital Marketing team to align on objectives, programs and KPI's
Build and grow the Agency Inside Social team
Be a thought leader for all things regarding social media today for Agency Inside and client partners
Work with the Account Services team to determine and incorporate best practices and process improvements to maintain overall account team efficiencies.
Gain the trust of cross-functional business partners
Specific Skills Needed
Thorough knowledge of the dynamics of today's social media landscape: Able to evaluate and lead the quality of Intel's social media experiences and provide strategic insights
Understand how an agency works: Must have agency experience in social media
Solid brand and marketing strategic skills: Know the principles of advertising, marketing and media and be able to translate marketing objectives and strategies into social strategies
Ability to be a strong partner to the creative team: Know how to write and add value to creative briefs and provide strategic direction throughout the life of the project
Problem solver: Need to have navigated complicated marketing, agency and people issues and figured out the best path forward
Relationship building: Proven ability to develop and maintain strong relationships across organizations and with external partners
Communication skills: Excellent communication, writing and presentation skills.
Early adopter of technology: The stuff we make is really cool. Using products with Intel technology is key to understanding the product benefits

Experience
Bachelor Degree Required. MBA desired
10+ years in Account Management
5 years experience in leading a Social Media team
Agency experience a must building social media content, hands on experience a plus
