Job Description:
This role is for a senior and energetic leader for the Software and Data architecture function. The individual must be both experienced and visionary in building exceptional technology strategies and roadmaps. We are looking for an individual who can lead a skilled group of Sr. Software Architects and who can closely partner with Sr. Business Leaders - developing robust, transformational strategies, which support critical business initiatives.
He/she must be an analytical, agile, and influential leader who can quickly deliver meaningful results and develop insights, foster innovation, with the flexibility to accommodate evolving business needs while managing sometimes shifting priorities. This is a high-paced, fast-changing and sometimes unpredictable work environment. This role requires a visionary with a proven track record of building relationships, driving change and defining successful technology strategies.
Responsibilities:
Reporting to the CIO, this role will oversee the development of software and data strategies (including roadmap and designs) across a wide variety of software platforms and across all business processes. Key technologies areas include SAP/ECC/CRM (and related solutions focused on critical aspects of Finance, GL, Tax and Reporting) , Oracle, SalesForce, Concur, Coupa, Oracle Agile, Demantra, PeopleSoft and Hyperion. The role will have direct and profound impact on the operational efficiency of the company through it’s direct influence on business processes, cost optimization and employee productivity. Working closely with the Engineering and
Development teams in IT, the architect will:
Provide strong leadership over talented group of senior software and data architects.
Provide overall direction for developing the next generation application and services frameworks, as well as other core software components.
Participate as a Sr. leader thought leader in the field of data management and governance – establishing processes and methods to ensure the data integrity of all solutions
Overall design and development of applications including SAP EEC, CRM and all associated modules/services/tools
Proven track record of integrating SaaS and ERP solutions
Experienced with Agile development methods.
Partner and collaborate with other technology leaders, stakeholders, and groups.
Regularly present architecture and solution visions to C-Level executives and business leaders
Solve challenging and practical software architecture and deployment challenges.
Analyze business requirements and translate them into a well defined software solutions; guide the team in designing software that meets business requirements
Create and advocate software designs to both technical and business partners; create technical specifications/design documentation
Lead architecture discussions and promote dialogs and healthy debates among team members
Research, recommend and implement new tools, techniques and best engineering practices and procedures
Represent Juniper and the CIO at industry events, conferences, Briefing Center presentations and other external events
Required Experience and Qualifications:
Masters degree (Business, MIS, Engineering, or other technology preferred).
Minimum 15 years in Software Development, Software Architecture or related fields of study
Proven record of architecting complex scalable software products
Deep technical knowledge of SAP ECC, SAP BI, Tableau, Oracle
Must possess strong interpersonal, organizational, communications, influence and planning skills
The individual must have a proven track record in defining scalable, robust, high-performing, secure and flexible application solutions across all business processes.
Expertise in a wide variety of solutions covering Supply chain, Quality systems, Integrated Planning, Finance, Customer Service and Sales/Order Management.
Experience with industry frameworks and methods for Software and Data Architecture
