Director Marketing Polaris New York City

Job Description:
We are seeking a creative, results-oriented, energetic marketing executive with a passion for working in a fast-paced environment. Job responsibilities include all major aspects of developing and executing our marketing strategy to support our growth. The position reports directly to the President.

Responsibilities include:
Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates our suite of solutions in the marketplace
Develop a strategic vision and gain buy-in from the senior management team
Work with the Product Team to understand target market segments (by region and industry) and plan messaging

Plan, execute, report and iterate multi-touch B2B demand generation campaigns incorporating lead acquisition, nurture and database re-engagement to drive qualified leads
Utilize content marketing and thought leadership materials to acquire and nurture leads
Sales enablement – communicate the value proposition of Polaris’ suite of solutions to the sales team and develop sales tools that support the selling lifecycle
Implement a multichannel campaign approach
Work closely with Sales and Senior Partners and Directors to communicate marketing strategies and incorporate sales feedback into campaign planning
Lead Polaris in building a top notch marketing department that is scalable and achieves our goals
Desired Skills and Experience
Requirements:

Proven track record in developing and implementing marketing strategies and plans
Depth of experience in SaaS marketing
Excellent communicator - written, verbal and visual
You are stickler for getting the message right
You are precise and detail oriented
You have a passion for design and aesthetics
Ability to balance the strategic, tactical and analytical on a day-to-day basis
Embrace rolling-up your sleeves to get things done in a team environment
You are entrepreneurial, creative and energetic
You care and make things happen
10-15 years marketing experience in a technology company
Bachelor degree is a must, advanced degree preferred
Compensation and benefits

$125-175K commensurate with experience, plus bonus
