Operations of Ross Overdrive system experience a plus.
Minimum of 3 years experience using newsroom computer systems
Minimum of 3 years working with and knowledge of television production equipment.
Strong Computer Skills: Minimum 3 years of experience with computer applications working and monitoring multiple screens and software applications simultaneously in a broadcast environment

Responsibilities Essential Responsibilities
KNBC Channel 4 in Los Angeles is looking for a Directorial Operator to join our Production department.
The Directorial Operator is responsible for preparing and executing the operation of the ROSS automated production control system for live and taped television broadcasts.
Build rundowns (automated or non-automated) for all broadcasts, , Commercials, etc.
Operates Control Room Computer and Automation, which includes the creation and utilization of templates to automate production functions including: technical directing, audio mixing, robotics operations, commercial integration, live/remote segment cut-ins, video file playback, graphics insertion and switching.
Gives direction to talent and other technicians, when present, on broadcasts.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
