Director Content Security NBC Universal Universal City

Job Description:
This position will provide guidance and oversight to all businesses in the company, both domestic and international, as to the creation and implementation of content security policies and procedures for NBCUniversal’s Film and TV assets. The position will be responsible for ensuring that internal and external personnel are adhering to the company’s policies and best practices related to the secure handling content, both by in person and remote assessments of the facilities. The Director of Content Security will work closely with legal and content security stakeholders throughout the company to ensure that content is secure from unauthorized access or use and to address any incidents that arise and to see that the appropriate remediation is applied as the incident requires.

Responsibilities
Provide Content Security related direction and coordination to the various NBCUniversal divisions including Film, TV, Cable, International and Sports
Create, manage or provide guidance in the creation of a comprehensive vendor list and assess/audit against that list or oversee 3rd party or other internal groups as they carry out this function on NBCU’s behalf.
Provide Content Security Assessments/Audit services worldwide against both the MPAA Content Security Best Practices and other relevant security standards for vendors and related tools
Advance security culture and awareness inside NBCUniversal with regards to content handling, storage, transfer and content tracking
Assist with management of deployed content security technologies.
Work with both internal and external technologists to identify and assess relevant security technologies that could help advance NBCUniversal's security posture
Work closely with other security stakeholders inside NBCUniversal
Represent the Content Security team at industry content security coalitions when necessary
Provide leadership during content security breaches and assist with any investigative efforts necessary
Maintain relationships with M&E industry content security counterparts
Provide guidance on risks of new devices or applications to be utilized by the company
Qualifications/RequirementsBasic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, information systems, computer science or related field or equivalent experience
Minimum five years experience in the technology space
Minimum five years experience in film or TV creation and distribution processes
Minimum five years experience in technology security
Experience creating workflow maps using tools like Microsoft Visio
Content workflow documentation and assessment/auditing experience

The Successful Candidate Will Have a Strong Multidisciplinary Skillset Including
Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience delivering information to executive management
Strong organizational skills
Comfortable with managing multiple complicated projects in parallel including the creation and tracking of project milestones
Ability to build strong and lasting relationships
