Senior Director Consumer Marketing FICO San Jose

Job Description:
The Senior Director, Consumer Marketing is an essential part of our senior Consumer Scores leadership team responsible for managing FICO brands in the consumer marketplace through both our direct and indirect channels and for managing effective new customer acquisition and retention programs for our direct channel, myFICO.

Key areas of responsibility:
Brand Management for our FICO Score brand in both our direct and indirect consumer channels. Responsible for enhancing and protecting FICO’s premium brand in the consumer marketplace.


Content Management to support our direct and indirect consumer channels. Responsible for creating and distributing content through various channels to support our direct and indirect business partners.

Acquisition Marketing for our consumer direct channel. Responsible for growing new customer acquisition for our direct channel via online channels including SEO, SEM, Affiliate, Display, and Social programs. Also responsible for managing our direct channel linked partner programs.

Website Conversion Optimization for our direct channel. Responsible for developing strategies and web user experiences that facilitate optimal customer conversion and great customer experiences.

Desired Skills and Experience
Required Experience and Qualifications:

8+ years professional experience with consumer facing brand and or online direct marketer, preference for experience with a consumer financial services brand.

Must have prior experience in managing and enhancing a top brand in consumer marketplace, preference for brand management in consumer financial services field.

Must have prior experience in managing online customer acquisition via SEO, SEM, Affiliate, display and social for consumer brand or e-commerce business.

Strong knowledge of online marketing best practices. Prior experience directly managing SEM, Affiliate, and display advertising or experience managing agencies providing these services.

Experience managing consumer brand research/brand tracking.

Outstanding communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate within an organization with senior leaders, peers and direct reports. Exceptionally strong ability to effectively communicate brand and product features/benefits to consumers.

Strong analytical skills. Ability to quickly and correctly interpret data, identify trends and opportunities and construct effective campaigns.

BS/MBA Degree
