Job Description:
Expedia's e-Commerce Platform (eCP) team is at the heart of Expedia's business. Our eCP technology and operations platforms power Expedia's online travel brands worldwide. eCP teams are diverse - we build and maintain foundational systems and infrastructure like Data Centers, Transaction Platforms and Financial Systems. Our business operations include Customer Service as well as Payment and Fraud Operation teams.
The Director of eCP Strategic Planning will directly support the Sr. Director of eCP Strategy and Planning and division President to drive the strategic vision for eCP and facilitate the strategy execution in partnership with eCP technology, product management and business operations teams. This is a highly visible position with the opportunity to fundamentally shape the future of eCP, making this role an ideal stepping-stone from strategy consulting into the faced paced world of Ecommerce and Online Travel.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Own strategic & support annual planning processes
Track & report progress on strategic plan execution
Prepare executive presentations (TLT, external QBRs, etc.)
Facilitate eCP internal review cadence (MBRs, QBRs)
Drive internal communication to eCP staff and external ecP communication to EI
Build and maintain eCP scorecard and other eCP "cross-vertical" reporting
Partner w/Finance on integration of financial metrics in scorecards
Set standards in collaboration with eCP verticals for reporting, data definitions, and data sources across eCP and EI
Job Requirements:

Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills with strong attention to detail
Very strong influencing and relationship building skills, and extensive experience working with senior management
Experience working cross-culturally and cross-functionally, and ability to adapt personal style to different environments
Solid project management experience including multi-team, multi-project responsibilities
Problem Solving / Problem Structuring / Analytical Skills
Strong strategic and critical thinking skills; ability to see the "big picture" while also diving into details as necessary
Data-driven decision maker with proven ability to apply appropriate quantitative rigor to the development of analytical models and complex analyses
Ability to structure problems and synthesize first and second order data sets / findings
Strong spreadsheet and data-management skills
Proficiency in technology development best practices and product management methodology, is a plus

Experience/Education
8-10 years plus 3+ years of relevant experience in a top-tier management consulting firm (Bain, BCG, McKinsey)
MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred
Experience with customer service, financial, and/or ERP product platforms that support OTC and P2P processes preferred, ideally in an ecommerce environment, is a plus
