Job Description:
Develop & lead ideas from white space identification, through commercialization of in-market incubation launch including concept development, business case and go-to-market strategy.
You will be working day in and an out with a group of similarly passionate & individuals across Product Development, Consumer Insights, Culinary, Engineering, and Design to create end-to-end product + experience visions across a variety of North Stars for the company, overcoming any obstacle in your path.
Responsibilities
Lead development of new initiatives including: identification of unmet consumer needs, trends, new product concepts, packaging, graphics, business case/P&L, marketing plans, communication/advertising and go- to-market & retail strategy.
Connect dots: develop competitively advantaged products that generate growth by: translating trends, identifying unmet consumer needs, analyzing and interpreting category and competitive activity and articulating implications and leveraging technology and manufacturing capabilities
Effectively engage and build relationships across the matrix organization and senior leaders as well as with external partners
Inspire, lead and influence cross functional teams, internal stakeholders and customers for distributive new product initiatives
Find new ways of doing things better everyday and be an entrepreneurial innovation ambassador to the organization capable of integrating activities across key functional partners
Evaluate progress against plan and recommend corrective action as needed
Communicate and align strategy with key internal and external stakeholders
Qualifications
8+ years experience in Marketing, Innovation, Advertising or Communication
Proven leadership of cross functional teams with strong team-orientation
Change agent with flexible work style & willingness to roll up your sleeves and do whatever it takes to help your team win
Ability to build strong business relationships to achieve sustainable partnerships and collaborate internally and externally.
Experienced in leading and developing a Design Thinking environment
Ability to drive team results where continuous innovation is a way of life
Demonstrated project management skills with proven ability to lead multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
Exceptional story telling & presentation skills, both oral and written
Strong strategic thinking & analytical skills ; ability to dive team into consumer & competitive landscape & develop sustainable business cases
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, Powerpoint
Ability to travel up to 30% of the time
