Director Product Development Nasdaq New York

Job Description:
Coordinates all phases of new product development, including research and design, pricing, proposition/marketing for MyMediaInfo, the web-based SaaS media intelligence solution Works closely with customer base to identify key needs and appropriate content / product solutions, and leads cross-functional teams within Nasdaq, comprising of product development/engineering, UX design, QA, marketing, commercial, sales and service, to deliver market-leading and differentiated solutions Serves as the product owner for scrum team(s), manages product prioritization and backlog, and authors user stories Manages relationship with existing 3rd party content and capability vendors, and makes build/partner recommendations to fill content/feature gaps Acts as an internal evangelist for MyMediaInfo and the media intelligence market; communicates the product vision/goals to all key internal stakeholders, and provides ongoing education and support to the frontline teams regarding the product proposition, features and market trends Actively researches the market conditions, tracks competitor activities, and attends industry events, conferences Manages and coaches the business analyst(s) for MyMediaInfo.

Education, Professional Accomplishments, Certifications:

Education Required: Degree qualified in Computer Science, Business/Finance or relevant discipline or equivalent working experience.
Experience Required: At least 10+ years of experience in relevant discipline.
Ability to lead and work in cross-functional, geographically dispersed teams
Capability to effectively communicate with all levels of internal and external stakeholders
Successful track record in delivering on project commitments
Ability to conduct client interviews and workshops
Prior management experience is required.
