The Network Processing Product Management (NPPM) team, as part of Global Network Processing (GNP) organization, at Visa has responsibility for managing Authorization, Clearing & Settlement products and services. The Senior Director of Clearing & Settlement (CAS) Product Management will serve as a lead product manager with a primary responsibility for Clearing & Settlement processing and its associated functions and services. This role directly influences strategic decisions to evolve the payment network, provides consulting to clients and other product teams to optimize the use of the network for new offerings and manages the implementation of new CAS capabilities.
Direct Or Stakeholder Role In CAS Product Management Functions As Relates To
VisaNet settlement processing products and services
National Net services business management including expansion in to newer markets
Domestic Market/Localization Requirements
Processing Specifications including Payment Technology Standards Configurations, Processing Rules, and Transaction Life Cycle Management
Custom Client Processing Requirements
VisaNet Release Management
This position will lead all National Net related implementations working closely with Visa internal and external stakeholders in the local markets across all geographies.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree required. Master's Degree preferred
10+ years of Product Management and/or Product Development experience
5+ years' experience working for a payment processing business
SME level understanding of payments related technologies
Strong understanding of credit card transaction life cycle management including card network value propositions and economics
Familiarity with Central Bank payments related regulations in different countries is an added plus
Excellent communication skills and proven ability to influence and communicate effectively across regional and functional lines
Solid interpersonal skills with a high level of self-motivation and initiative
Strong analytical, planning and project management experience with strong problem solving capabilities
Demonstrated ability to work with large, cross-functional (e.g. product, technology, strategy, finance, client management, marketing) and cross-regional teams in a complex, highly matrixed organization to determine market and client requirements and to build solutions to meet those needs
