· B.S. degree in science or engineering is required. A graduate degree is preferred in science or engineering. A degree in business or management is desired.
· Program office project leadership experience or ETG management experience is desired. Experience interacting with GS-15/SES customer level counterparts is required.
· Demonstrated experience recognizing and defining the customer’s broad scope space problems is required.
· Demonstrated experience in leading project and study teams and managing staff.
· A minimum of 12 years of relevant multidisciplinary experience, including significant technical experience in at least two areas directly related to NASA space missions such as conceptual mission design, architecture, system development, risk analysis, systems engineering, technology development, or cost/schedule analysis is required.
· Comfort with ambiguity and fast paced, rapidly changing environment.
· Experience working with remote and virtual teams.
· Availability for domestic travel is required.
