The Director of Program Management has day-to-day responsibility for the smooth and effective running of their projects with a focus on great delivery. A deep understanding of the principles of project management, appropriate methodologies and processes is vital. This role will oversee projects and implement process between cross functional teams (e.g. Measurement, Product Management, Technology, etc.) for a variety of initiatives. S/he will ensure that implementation plans are built to succeed and will result in expected deliverables, helping the team identify risks / dependencies and removing roadblocks.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Work with peers to develop and drive project goals, define project scope and create detailed implementation and resource plans for projects
Manage communications and cross team deliverables for assigned projects
Facilitate collaboration within the project team and with other stakeholders
Identify gaps in process or opportunities for improvement and work with team to adjust or implement net new process as needed
Identify risks and mitigation strategies
Create, track and communicate status and issues and drive escalation as needed
Establish partnerships across cross-functional teams
Project planning software (i.e. MS Project, Smartsheets, etc.)
Education, Experience, Certification Requirements
Bachelor's degree required, MBA/Master's degree preferred.
3 years of relevant working experience in at least some elements of the following: media/data program management, ad technology integration.
7-10 years project management experience in successfully delivering marketing and technology solutions.
3 years of experience leading diverse project types within the digital media space or digital marketing space
3 years of people management experience
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of data management in a media environment
Excellent lateral leadership skills (influencing skills)
Demonstrated ability to identify roadblocks and find solutions
MS Excel skills especially as relates to budget management
Strong presentation skills
Strong written skills
