We are looking for an exceptional Director of User Experience and Design to help define and deliver the vision for our customer experience across every digital touch point. These include the web, mobile applications, in-store kiosks, and emerging technologies like wearables.
This role demands a leader with the ability to self-manage, execute consistently and obsession for attention to detail. Most of all, we are looking for a creative problem solver with the customer always at heart.
ResponsibilitiesWhat You’ll Do
• Build and lead a exceptional design team to support our customer needs
• Ensure a consistent, cohesive design across all channels (web, app, kiosk)
• Create a best in class customer experience while maximizing value to the business and the brand
• Effectively communicate your vision and strategy to a wide audience of stakeholders
• Deliver high-quality materials that effectively communicate McDonald’s design strategy from concept to creation (e.g. Storyboards, Information Architecture, Wireframes, Style Guides, Prototypes, etc.)
• Work with the cross-functional teams to plan and conduct user research and pilots
• Collaborate with global teams to incorporate their market needs into a unified brand vision
• Establish effective design methods, processes, and tools to support multiple global scale products across all customer touch points.
• Collaborate with your team and partners to deliver interface and interaction design standards and best practices that support a global, omni-channel audience.
