Senior Director Global Corporate Development eCommerce PepsiCo San Francisco

Job Description
The growth opportunity is broad-based, with both developed and developing markets experiencing rapid growth in this channel. In order to maintain the necessary pace to meet the growth targets and compete effectively against start-ups or technology competitors requires a step-change in our thinking and traditional approaches. Accordingly, this role will play a critical effort in shaping and executing the global eCommerce growth agenda. S / he will be tasked with identifying necessary growth opportunities based on understanding of marco- and micro-trends in the channel with the CFO & Strategic Partnerships lead. This individual will also be tasked with identifying external organizations that align with or address our identified needs to enable inorganic growth in the channel. Once the potential opportunities are identified, this individual will be tasked with leading the cross-functional integration or partnership efforts to ensure the necessary safeguards are in place to optimize the opportunity.


Identify key growth opportunities (cohort, country, or category) related to the eCommerce space to drive the long-term vision and growth of the venture
Identify and drive long-term thinking to evolve and establish optimized partnership or acquisitions both inside, and outside, of the CPG space to leapfrog into the "B to C" business model
Partner with the broader eCommerce leadership team to articulate and implement the correct expansion plan to drive inorganic growth in this critical new capability
Partner with the marketing, innovation , supply chain and BIS / technology leaders to ensure there is sufficient safeguards in place to maximize the potential partnership or acquisition opportunity
Evaluate options for scaling up this priority platform to ensure that the business model is viable and meets the projects' long-term needs for eCommerce
Drive critical thinking and understanding in key stakeholders to influence the agenda and approach relative to competitors behaviors, capabilities and positioning

Qualifications:

12+ years of experience in related technology and / or eCommerce Strategy or Acquisitions
BA and MBA strongly preferred
Track record of evangelizing and driving the best in class eCommerce strategic practices to improve the existing content and shape future practices
Prior experience in CPG or retail business
Ability and passion to drive organization-wide education regarding unique practices and methodology to improve partnership and acquisition identification and evaluation
Highly analytical, motivated, decisive thought leader
Strong ability to influence and work through others to effectively navigate matrixed organization while ensuring that necessary stakeholders are informed
Ability to manage / drive agenda and thinking with functional reports in a matrixed and virtual environment
Able to influence leaders within and beyond eCommerce in a virtual environment
High level of intellectual curiosity and interest in technology trends and advancements
High character and integrity, is consistent and acts in line with a clear and visible set of values and beliefs;
Global outlook with sensitivity and awareness of social and cultural differences
