As part of this team you fully immerse yourself in data collection, draw insight from analysis, and then zoom out to develop compelling, synthesized recommendations. Taking strategy one step further, you also persuasively communicate your recommendations to senior-level executives, roll-up your sleeves to help drive implementation and check back-in to see the impact of your recommendations. As a Principal in Business Operations and Strategy, you will manage projects commissioned by Google's executive team and lead a team of Associates by leveraging your sound business judgment and management, problem-solving, communication and analytical skills.
Responsibilities
Work with the company's senior executive leadership to define, launch, and drive strategic and operational initiatives.
Structure and execute operational and strategic initiatives by developing work plans, gathering and synthesizing relevant data, leading analyses and developing final recommendations.
Lead cross-functional, global teams to get work done.
Communicate findings to senior management and to the broader organization.
Drive recommendations through to implementation and results.
Minimum qualifications
BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
6 years of experience at a management consulting firm or investment bank, or equivalent project management experience in a line role for a high-growth technology firm.
Preferred qualifications
MBA or graduate degree in a management, technical or engineering field.
10 years of relevant work experience in consulting; software, Internet and/or media industries; and/or early stage companies.
Experience leading complex operational and strategic initiatives.
Distinctive problem-solving and analysis skills, combined with impeccable business judgment.
Superior ability to present to executives and communicate with highly technical management team.
Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
